Three random thoughts:

1. Picture #6—I just…what. What. Not possible. Cannot handle the cute.
2. Picture #8—If I ever set a story on an alien planet, I will have monkeys that look like this. Alien monkeys.
3. I don’t know if you like theatre at all, but there’s this hilarious one-act play called “Words, Words, Words” by David Ives. It’s about chimps, English literature, and writing. If you ever get the chance to see it, I’d recommend it.

#6 IS ridiculously cute. #8 is kind of freaky but also cute to me. IDK I love monkeys.

“Words, Words, Words is a short comedic play written by David Ives for All in the Timing. The play is about Kafka, Milton, and Swift, three intelligent chimpanzees who are put in a cage together under the experimenting eye of a never seen Dr. Rosenbaum, a scientist testing the hypothesis that three apes hitting keys at random on typewriters for an infinite amount of time will almost surely produce Hamlet (a variation on the infinite monkey theorem)”

YESYESYES, if the blurb interests you, you must check it out! I was actually in a production of it back in high school (I played Kafka) for my friend’s senior project, and it was a ton of fun. *grins implishly/chimpishly* Doooo iiiit… (Also, I think there are recordings of various productions available on YouTube, so you could poke around there and see if you can find a good one.)

Too funny! I love cats like you love monkeys. So for the cat in photo #1, he’s not a happy camper. Not a happy camper at all. Heh heh.

I love cats too! Tragically, I am allergic. I’m a huge fan of that first photo for including a monkey AND a cat. Even if the poor cat is being terrorized.
